Brazen robbery as duo slide under shopping centre security door

Two men are being hunted following a brazen burglary in Melbourne’s south-east.

CCTV shows two men at a shopping complex on Wattletree Road in Malvern around 8pm on January 18.

In the footage, one of the men can be seen lifting the corner of a roller security door allowing his accomplice to slide underneath and into the department store.

The other man then filled a spots bag with a number of designer tops as well as various other items.

Both men fled the complex via a fire exit after an alarm was activated.

The first man is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 173cm tall, aged in his 40s with a tattoo on the inside of his left lower calf.

He was wearing a navy blue jumper with white and red stripes, blue denim shorts, white runners, and was carrying a black Nike sports bag.

The second man was is of Maori or Pacific Islander appearance, aged in his 20s, with black hair, and was wearing a black and white striped polo shirt, black shorts and white runners.
