Garbage man throws entire bin out with the rubbish
A Melbourne resident thought he was the victim of bin thieves until he caught a young garbage disposal man red-handed.
Video obtained by 9News shows the refuse collector throwing the an entire bin into the back of the truck with the regular rubbish outside townhouses on Stawell Street in Richmond.

The worker then continues with the bin collecting.
Resident David Mckenzie told 9News he has mixed feelings about the incident, which unfolded yesterday.
“I didn’t know whether to laugh or be upset by it, because it’s the last thing I thought was going to happen,” Mr Mckenzie said.
The bizarre incident occurred in the Melbourne suburb of Richmond. 9news
Yarra City Council said the bin was removed by the contractor because it was damaged, and its contents were deemed unsanitary.
“This is not an unusual occurrence. We have been in contact with the resident today and advised him that the bin will be replaced at no charge, as per our standard practice,” it said in a statement to 9News.

The employee will not be penalised as he followed common procedure, the council added.
It is the third time in six months Mr McKenzie has been forced to contact the council to replace his bins.
New bins come at a cost of $184 for a 80-litre rubbish bin and a 120-litre recycle bin.
In this instance, the resident’s bin will be replaced within the next 48 hours.
