Police release video of men after women assaulted in Melbourne CBD

Police have released security video of six men as they continue to investigate the robbery and assault of two women in Melbourne’s city centre.

The vision shows a group of men walking down a city laneway in the early hours of March 9.

Investigators believe the gang may have sexually assaulted one woman, then punched another woman in the face on Queen Street at about 3.55am.

The victims also had a speaker and tobacco stolen from them by the suspects, who then fled the scene.

Investigations are ongoing.
