Search resumes for missing elderly man north of Brisbane
Police have resumed the search for an elderly man missing from Samford, north of Brisbane.
Maxwell Morrison, 81, was last seen leaving a Morrison Road residence at Cedar Creek around 1.30pm on Tuesday and failed to return home.
A search was launched yesterday and suspended at nightfall.

There are serious concerns for Mr Morrison's wellbeing as he is in the early stages of dementia and may be disoriented or confused. He is also an insulin-dependent diabetic.
Police believe he was travelling to Mt Glorious in a white 2004 Nissan Navara with registration 195 HPL. The ute has a long steel tray with a timber deck.
He is Caucasian and about 160cm tall, with a medium build and white hair.
He was last seen wearing an orange polo shirt, dark grey pants, brown socks and sandals.
Anyone who has seen Mr Morrison or his car since Monday is urged to contact police.
