Man rushed to surgery after being stabbed in stomach in Adelaide home

A man has undergone emergency surgery after being stabbed at an Adelaide home this morning.

Emergency services were called to the Alawoona Road home in Munno Para just after 4.30am, where they found a 43-year-old man with a single stab wound to the stomach.

The man was treated at the scene before being rushed to the Royal Adelaide with a potentially life-threatening injury.

Police say the incident is not being considered as a random attack.

Northern District Detectives are investigating and crime scene examiners are doorknocking the area as the investigation into the incident continues.
