Police search for witnesses after reports two men approached a child
Police are investigating after reports a child was approached by two men in a car near Coffs Harbour in New South Wales.
Officers were told a 14-year-old girl was approached by the unknown car on Fiddaman Road in the suburb of Emerald Beach.
"The driver offered the girl a lift, however she refused and continued walking," police said.

"The driver then exited the vehicle and attempted to usher the girl inside the vehicle before she ran to her nearby home."
Police are appealing for dashcam footage and witnesses who may be able to identify the men or the vehicle.
The driver is described as being aged in his late teens, 180cm tall and of skinny build.

He spoke with an accent the girl was not familiar with and was wearing a black hoodie with dark long pants.
The male passenger is not further described.
The car is described as a late model, dark-coloured Holden Commodore which was displaying green P plates.
