Sydney high school in lockdown, police operation underway

A Sydney high school was today locked down after a fight between two students.

A NSW Police spokeswoman said officers responded to reports of a brawl at at Georges River College in Oatley around 10am today. 

"Two 17-year-olds were in a fight and a number of students attempted to intervene," she said. 

A female teacher was scratched on the arm during the incident but nobody else was injured.

Police are questioning the two young men involved in the incident and school has resumed.
