New laws mistakenly overtaxed mosaic tiles

Apparently not all mosaic tiles imported into Australia are being treated equally.
Changes made to the Customs Tarrif Act late last year mistakenly applied a five per cent duty rate to certain types of tiles, when it should have only been three per cent.
Immigration Minister Peter Dutton on Wednesday introduced to parliament a proposal to correct the rate.
