The Netherlands is buying 12 more Australian-made Bushmaster armoured infantry transport vehicles.
Chris Jenkins, chief executive of defence company Thales which makes Bushmasters at its plant at Bendigo, said the new vehicles would follow 86 vehicles purchased between 2006 and 2009 when Dutch forces were operating in Afghanistan.
The Australian Defence Force operates a large number of Bushmasters, which have also been exported to Japan and Jamaica.
