Nauru kids pocket $5 a day to go to school

Youngsters on Nauru will receive $A5 a day pocket money from the island's government to go to school.
The Nauru government, earlier this month, introduced the concept for islanders and refugee children in pre-school to year 12 to combat truancy.
The money will be kept in a trust fund which students will be able to access when they leave school.
