A man has been successfully retrieved from a precarious position on Mount Beerwah on the Sunshine Coast.
Firefighters, paramedics and the SES were called to the mountain about 12.40pm to reports the man was stuck on a rock ledge.

The person was not believed to be injured but paramedics said it was understood the individual was stuck and unable to descend the mountain.
Video from the news helicopter showed rescue teams arriving with climbing equipment assessing the terrain.
The man was later seen being assisted down the mountain by the rescue team.
