What to do some federal politicians get up to during their Christmas break? They begin a beard battle.
Communications Minister Mitch Fifield, Shadow Treasurer Chris Bowen and Labor MP Ed Husic are among federal politicians sporting summer stubble.
"I just thought it was important to show Chris Bowen and Ed Husic what a real beard looks like," Senator Fifield told Sky News on Wednesday when asked about his new look.
