Move to end discrimination against workers

Nationals MP George Christensen wants to stop employers discriminating against workers based on where they live.
The North Queensland MP introduced a private bill to federal parliament on Monday that aims to stop mining companies from recruiting employees based on their proximity to airports.
He cited job advertisements that required applicants to live within 100km of Brisbane or Cairns airport, leaving locals unable to apply.
