Motorcyclist killed south of Sydney

A motorcyclist has been killed after overtaking three cars and crashing into an embankment and a tree.

Police said officers were called to Lady Wakehurst Drive at Otford, south of Sydney, about 1.50pm (AEDT) on Sunday to find the body of the 38-year-old man.

Police were told the rider overtook three cars on the wrong side of the road and appeared to lose control and hit an embankment and a tree.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
