A rider has had a gun waved in his face after offering a driver a ‘two-fingered-salute’

Police are investigating claims a Perth motorbike rider was threatened with a gun in a road rage incident.

The rider posted a video on Facebook, taken from a camera on his helmet.

You can see the man driving the Ford Falcon waving what appears to be a handgun as he goes past the motorbike.

Police believe the incident happened around 3.30pm on Thursday afternoon on Witnerfold Road in Coolbelup.

The rider who posted the video, says he’d earlier been tailgated by the white car and had given the driver a “two-fingered salute.”

He says the driver then followed him and eventually overtook, shouting while waving what appears to be a black handgun.

Fremantle detectives are investigating, and anyone with information is urged to come forward.
