Australia's top 15 most trusted brands revealed
Despite the cynicism of the modern age, it turns out there are still some things Australians have deep confidence in, especially when it comes to where they spend.
Marketing research from Catalyst, commissioned by Reader's Digest, has revealed the most trusted brand names in Australia.
"It's been a very challenging few years, but ultimately our category winners share a key common trait," Catalyst Research director Cameron Gentle said.
"They consistently deliver on their promise. People have an expectation of what they're going to get, and the particular product or organisation delivers what they're after. Time and again."
Here are the 15 brands Australia trusts above all others.
15. Selleys
Australian-born glue giant Selleys was named 15th.
13. Dairy Farmers
The staple of the dairy aisle was ranked 13th.
12. Royal Flying Doctors Service
The Flying Doctor was also named Australia's most trusted charity.
11. Weber
Legions of backyard/balcony barbecue bon vivants probably agree.
10. Bega
The cheese and dairy stalwart made it into the top 10.
9. Toyota
Toyota beat out Maza and Mercedes-Benz as the most trusted brand in cars.
8. Panadol
Panadol was ranked eighth.
7. Bridgestone
Bridgestone was Australia's most trusted tyre vendor.
5. Dulux
House paint giant Dulux ranked fifth.
