Morrison seeks decisions from crossbench

Scott Morrison says crossbenchers don't have the option of just talking about issues such as budget repair, but must act responsibly.

The treasurer is holding talks in coming weeks with new senators, including One Nation leader Pauline Hanson, to pass $40 billion in budget savings and revenue measures.

"It can't be all care and no responsibility ... there won't be the option of just 'Oh this is my view' and move on - there are consequences to every decision," Mr Morrison told 2GB radio on Monday.
