More money spent on big Brandis bookcase

Taxpayers have forked out more than $1800 to shift controversial bookshelves to the new office of Attorney-General George Brandis.
Senator Brandis, the former arts minister, was given upgraded digs in Parliament House following his appointment as government leader in the Senate in the wake of the Liberal leadership change.
Having spent more than $15,000 of taxpayers' money on the huge, custom-built bookcase, Senator Brandis requested it be moved at a cost of $1822, a Senate estimates hearing was told.
