Mongols bikie charged over Vic extortion
A Mongols bikie and two others have been charged over an alleged extortion in north east Victoria.
Police say the 35-year-old Mongols outlaw motorcycle gang member and two others were charged over the alleged extortion that took place at Huon, near Wodonga last November.
The bikie, from Wheelers Hill, is charged with two counts of extortion along with recklessly causing serious injury, intentionally causing injury and making threats to damage property.
He was remanded in custody and will appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court on January 31.
Two men from Wodonga, aged 80 and 28, have also been charged with two counts of extortion.
Both men have been bailed to appear at the Wodonga Magistrates Court on April 15.
