Cow causes commuter chaos on the Monash Freeway

Police used hay on a piece of string to a rein-in a rogue cow that caused chaos on a packed Melbourne freeway.
One lane of the Monash Freeway was closed and the speed limit was reduced FROM?? to 40 km/h after the animal was spotted at about 6.30am on the motorway between Kardinia and Clyde roads.
Several police cars, toll road operator CityLink trucks and a crane called in to help.

Eventually, the cow was shepherded into a waiting float with the offer of a tasty treat.
