Rescue mission for loggerhead turtle ends on a high
A rescue mission to return a loggerhead turtle named Yosemite to the sea ended on a high today.
SeaWorld and Australian Seabird Rescue workers released her back into the ocean at Fingal Head, about five kilometres south of the New South Wales and Queensland border.
Divers found her three months ago with a hook in her lower jaw, struggling near Cook Island.

After a dumping start, she was off.

"We just needed to feed her up and get that muscle condition on her and make sure that she was, as I said, well equipped for life back out at sea," Seaworld turtle coordinator Siobahn Houlihan said.
Carers hope the turtle is heading back out to sea to enjoy a very, very long life.
