Missing Sydney girl returns home

An 11-year-old girl who went missing in northern Sydney has returned home and is safe and well, police say.
Scarlett Mitchell was last seen at her home on Holt Avenue, Mosman, shortly before 8.30am (AEDT) on Monday and didn't show up at school.
She returned home at about 6.45am on Tuesday and was "safe and well", police said in a statement.
