Police believe they've found the body of a young man who went missing two weeks ago on a remote property in outback Queensland.

The four-wheel drive Trent Grose was driving was found with a flat battery in an isolated area of a property about 75 kilometres west of Richmond on Wednesday, sparking searches by police and SES aided by two helicopters.

Police believe a body found 17km from the vehicle, on another remote property outside of Maxwelton, is that of the 25-year-old.

It is possible the vehicle had been in the location where it was found for several days.

The temperature in Richmond on Saturday tipped 41C.

The death is not believed to be suspicious. A report will be prepared for the coroner.
