Missing 97-year-old man found safe and well on the Gold Coast

A 97-year-old Toowoomba man who went missing from the Gold Coast for two nights has been found safe and well.
He was reported missing after he was last seen in Surfers Paradise on Thursday, and police believed he may have been attempting to travel to Sydney.
He was found safe and well last night, police said in a statement.
