Queensland police have located a 12-year-old girl missing north of Brisbane since Thursday.
Matilda Grace White was last seen outside her Rothwell school on Thursday afternoon and contacted her mother Margaret on Friday night, but hadn't been heard from since.

Her tearful mother made an appeal for her return, saying her extended disappearance was out of character.
Police have since confirmed she has been found safe and well.
