Fire hits Sydney car warehouse

Fire has ripped through at least 20 trucks parked at the back of a Volvo warehouse in Sydney's south-west, causing "hundreds of thousands of dollars" in damage.

Thick smoke was seen billowing over the Minto factory, before fire crews arrived to put out the blaze.

It's understood the flames erupted from a stack of pallets on the back of a truck, before spreading to the other vehicles.

In a statement, Volvo group Australia said all employees were evacuated safely, and the site is now operating again.
