Microsoft has been forced to roll back changes to Office 365 after thousands of users were locked out of their accounts this morning.

Microsoft 365 users are unable to access any of the company's applications due to a major system outage affecting Outlook, Teams and Microsoft Office, the company said.

Users reported being unable to open, load or log into any of their systems of applications.

"We've identified a recent change that appears to be the source of the issue," Microsoft tweeted this morning.

The issue is being resolved and Microsoft have identified the source of the problem.

"We've rolled back the change that is likely the source of impact and are monitoring the environment to validate that service is recovering."
