Former West Coast Eagles coach Mick Malthouse said this morning the team was feeling confident going into Saturday’s Grand Final.

In an interview with Tim Gilbert on the TODAY Show, Malthouse said the team’s “method would hold up”, despite being forced to play at the MCG rather than their home ground Subiaco Oval.

“I would say a few weeks ago they would have been happy to finish in the top four and play off in a final. I think that has swing around to the point where they are very, very confident and indeed they should be confident. They’ve had a fantastic victory acouple of weeks ago and they believe in their coach and they believe in their game plan,” Malthouse said.
