Michael Evans is SA's new Crown Solicitor

Michael Evans QC is the new Crown Solicitor for South Australia.
He has more than 30 years of legal experience in both public and private sectors, Attorney General John Rau said as he announced the appointment on Thursday.
"Mr Evans is highly regarded by his peers and brings a wealth of knowledge to the role," he added.

Mr Evans replaces Greg Parker, who was appointed a Supreme Court judge in November.
He will take up the five-year appointment on February 17.
