Michael Clarke reveals he and wife Kyly are expecting their first child

Australian Test cricket captain Michael Clarke has announced he and his wife Kyly are expecting their first child.

Clarke posted a photo of the couple to his Twitter account around 6am with the message, “@KylyClarke and I are extremely ecstatic to announce we are expecting our first child”.

He was instantly flooded with messages of congratulations.

The skipper shared the happy news less than 24 hours before the first Ashes test, which starts tonight at 8pm (AEST).
