Men arrested after mass brawl erupts in Melbourne CBD

Three men have been arrested after a large brawl erupted on the streets of Melbourne’s CBD overnight.

Emergency services were called to City Road, Southbank, after reports of a fight outside the Main Point apartment block about midnight.

Up 12 people were involved in the brawl, and pepper spray was used by officers to control the melee, police said.

It is understood an argument between two women sparked the fight.

Three men were arrested at the scene, while a woman in her 20s was treated for injuries.

Investigations are ongoing.
