Memorial for murder victim Allison Baden-Clay vandalised

A memorial for murdered mother-of-three, Allison Baden-Clay, has been senselessly vandalised.

A metal plaque engraved with the mother’s name and a tribute to her, usually attached to a sandstone structure, has been found on the ground, after allegedly being forcibly removed.

The memorial is on Mount Crosby Road in Anstead, near where the 43-year-old's body was found in 2012.

It is a site her family frequently visit, and is always adorned with yellow flowers, her favourite colour.

It's understood Ms Baden-Clay’s parents, Geoff and Priscilla Dickie, have complained to police about the damage.

Some residents in Brisbane's west have concerns about the location of the memorial site, fearing it is a traffic safety issue as drivers slow as they pass it or perform illegal U-turns to get a better look.

Ms Baden-Clay’s husband, Gerard Baden-Clay, was convicted of her murder and sentenced to life behind bars in 2014.
