Melissa Caddick's victims may finally get some money back
Victims of Melissa Caddick's fraud scheme may finally get some of their money back after investigators tracked down most of her ill-gotten gains.
Investigators have sat down with 60 Minutes for the first time and reporter Tom Steinfort said they believe they have found most of the missing millions.
"They have got to the end of it, where she transferred money, what she invested in and what she spent it on," he told Today this morning.

"They are saying unfortunately she has blown a large portion of it on that outrageous lifestyle she was living, the mansions, the holidays, the sports cars, the wardrobe, whatever it may be.
"But they are also revealing to us that there is some hope for investors."
Ms Caddick has been accused of stealing millions of dollars from investors, including her own friends, family, and even her parents.

Last week an ASICS shoe containing a decomposing foot washed up on Bournda Beach about 400 kilometres south of Sydney, and has since been confirmed as Ms Caddick's.
Ms Caddick attended a school camp at the same beach when she was younger, and she reportedly had familiarity with that area.
"Some of the investigators we have spoken to say that's piqued their interest a little bit," Steinfort said this morning.
An ocean search in Sydney's Dover Heights where she lived was called off yesterday after police scoured more than 6000 square metres of the sea floor without a trace of her.
