Woman requires car to be cut out after driving down staircase
A woman who drove her car down three flights of stairs after driving over a pedestrian overpass in Melbourne's south-east is expected to be charged with drink driving.
The 21-year-old Malvern East woman drove her car up the ramp of an overpass at Kananook Railway Station yesterday morning and remained stationary at the top until driving down the stairs to ground level.

The Mitsubishi ASX station wagon then became wedged between the steel handrails of the staircase, requiring SES assistance to cut the vehicle out.
Police attended the incident, which occurred just before 2am and breath-tested the woman, resulting in an alleged reading of 0.158.
The woman is also expected to be charged with careless driving.
