Woman to face court for murder after alleged fatal stabbing at Heidelberg West

A woman has been charged with murder after an alleged fatal stabbing in Melbourne's north-east this morning.
A 55-year-old man was found dead at a Heidelberg West property, when emergency services attended the address in Koitaki Court about 12.05am.

Homicide Squad detectives arrested a 41-year-old Heidelberg West woman at the scene and later charged her with one count of murder.
Victoria Police spokesman Sam Bidey said the pair were "known" to each other.
The woman will face the Melbourne Magistrates' Court later today.
