Temperatures plummet up to 15 degrees in Melbourne and Adelaide
The weather in Melbourne and Adelaide is far from average this week, with abnormally high heat on Sunday having plummeted to unusually low temperatures today.
Melbourne is a staggering 15 degrees colder today than it was on Sunday, while Adelaide is experiencing a 13 degree temperature difference from the weekend.
It will reach a chilly top of 19 degrees in Melbourne today, compared to the December average of 24 degrees, according to Weatherzone.

The cool change has come as a shock to Melburnians after the weather was a steamy 34 degrees yesterday.
Meanwhile, Adelaide will only reach a top of 23 degrees, while the December average for the city is 27, and after it was 36 yesterday.
But temperatures are soaring across much of the rest of the country today due to a slow-moving heat trough.
It is forecast to reach a top of 29 degrees in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.
