Melbourne to experience its coldest day since 2019
Melbourne is set to experience its coldest day since 2019, with temperatures in the CBD expected to reach only a top of 10 degrees.
It is also likely to feel much colder than the actual temperature thanks to strong south-westerly winds, which could reach 30km/h.
The Bureau of Meteorology has predicted "a very cold and showery Monday", with possible hail in the morning and an 80 per cent chance of showers throughout the day.

Miriam Bradley from the Bureau of Meteorology told Today the conditions are expected as "very strong cold front" that swept across south-eastern over the weekend continues today.
"The coldest part of that air mass is moving over Victoria and Tasmania today," she said.
"That's why we are really looking at possibly the coldest day for a long time in Melbourne but low snow levels across the south-east."

Ballarat is set for a top of 8 degrees and Geelong a top of 11.
Victoria was hit with wild weather on Sunday, with strong gusts of wind, thunderstorms, rain and small hail.
