Second COVID-hit cruise ship in a week docks in Sydney
Another COVID-hit cruise ship is docking in Sydney this morning, the second such vessel in less than a week.
Just days after the Coral Princess arrived in the harbour, the P&O Pacific Explorer followed suit, with about 100 COVID-19 cases on board.
The vessel's arrival in Sydney marked the end of a nine-day round trip to Queensland.

About 3000 passengers and staff are on board.
All passengers who have tested positive are confined to their cabins, and have even been issued with red tags for their doors to keep staff from coming inside.
On arrival, passengers who want to disembark will have to provide a negative rapid antigen test.

Those who have already tested positive will face other arrangements.
If they live close enough, P&O will make alternative arrangements for them to be transported home.
Those who live further away, including interstate passengers, will be put in hotels for the rest of their isolation period, with P&O footing the bill.

Passengers who have been forced to stay in their cabins during the cruise will also receive a refund.
The ship's next journey is slated to be a four-night cruise to Moreton Island, with passengers for that embarking today.
NSW Health and Carnival Australia have not revealed the proportion of positive tests between crew and passengers.
