Sex offender with 'multiple aliases' on the run

Police are hunting a registered sex offender known to go by a number of different names in Melbourne.

Ricky Wilson, 23, provided a false address to police, a breach of his reporting obligations, Victoria Police said in a statement.

He has used a name of aliases in the past, including:

• Rangon Edwards

• Rayon Edwards

• Ricky Dean Edwards

• Rangon Wilson

• Ricky Dean Wilson

• Ricky-Dean Aliwishes Wilson

He is described as being about 160cm tall, with a medium build, black hair and brown eyes.

The offender also has a number of tattoos, including ‘Kiarra’ written on his right wrist and ‘Mum’ on his left wrist, as well as ‘Drew’ on his right upper arm.

He is known to frequent the Geelong, Norlane, Corio and Richmond areas.
