The killer responsible for the death of a 36-year-old man found at a Melbourne shopping centre car park is still at large.
Victoria Police confirmed last night the Doncaster man's identity has not yet been released, and that no suspects have yet been apprehended or arrested.
The man's throat was reportedly slashed, but police have only confirmed the man suffered "serious head injuries".
Forensic investigators scoured the scene in the car park of Westfield Doncaster on Friday after the man was discovered by a fitness group holding a nearby training session.
Members of the Heavy Haulers group attempted to help the man after spotting him near the lift lobby, but he was unable to be revived and died soon after.
A witness earlier told 3AW there was a lot of blood and it appeared the man had his throat slashed.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious at the top level of the car park or in the lift lobby to come forward.
