Halloween in Melbourne is becoming increasingly popular with costume shop owners reporting an increase in trade.
Children in schools across the city swapped their school uniforms for something scarier today, while others lined up for entry into haunted mansions.
Creative Costumes owner Dale Pruser said she notices the increase in Halloween hysteria each year.

“Now it’s just crazy, it’s so busy, we’re 30 percent busier than last year,” Ms Pruser said.
Zombies, vampires and witches seem to be among the most popular costumes, with plenty of adults across the city also proving the night of horrors isn’t just for kids.
