Man critical after ute and truck collide in Melbourne
A driver is fighting for life after his ute collided with a truck in Melbourne’s north this morning.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Sydney and Barry Road, Campbellfield, about 5.50am.
It is believed the ute was turning onto Barry Road when it collided with the tray truck.

The ute driver suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
The 22-year-old truck driver was not hurt, and is now being questioned by police.
Traffic travelling south on Sydney Road is being diverted onto Barry Road.
