An Australian size 26, Holliday is the largest model to be signed to a mainstream modelling agency and is adorned with tattoos.
The faces of entertainment icons Marilyn Monroe, Mae West and Dolly Parton are among her impressive array of ink.
She has more than 970,000 Facebook likes and 859,000 Instagram followers, and in 2013 started the hastag #effyourbeautystandards.
The trend has sparked more than a million responses online from users backing her call for better understanding of body image issues.
Holliday met her Australian fiancé Nick Holliday after he commented on one of her photos on blogging site Tumblr.
Holliday, who also goes by the name Tess Munster and was born Ryann Hoven, uses her fiancé’s surname professionally.
