Medicinal cannabis to be grown in WA
AAP
AusCann has been granted a licence to grow medicinal cannabis in Western Australia at a top-secret location.
The Australian Securities Exchange-listed company's chairman, former federal Liberal MP Mal Washer, expects the first locally grown product will be ready next year.
AusCann will import medicines from its Canadian partner Canopy until it is able to supply Australian produced cannabinoid medicines.
