Fast-food giant launches video game to entice new workers
A fast-food giant has launched an interactive video game in an attempt to hire staff as a worker shortage continues across the country.
McDonald's launched Macca's Burger Challenge game today to entice workers to fill more than 14,000 vacant positions available.
There are crew, barista, delivery, maintenance and management roles up for grabs at its 1025 restaurants.

McDonald's Australia's Chief People Officer, Emma Napoli, said the game would help future employees get a glimpse of what it was like to work at one of its restaurants.
"Whether you're looking for your first job to see you through your studies, a casual role to tide you over in retirement, or a rewarding career in retail and hospitality, we would love to hear from you," she said.
Meanwhile, Australian software company Atlassian will use a branded RV to drive across major cities to recruit workers after last month's Jobs and Skills Summit in Canberra.
Atlassian is currently advertising jobs in engineering, sales, customer experience, support and people.
