Melbourne McDonald's employee tests positive to COVID-19
A McDonald's employee in Melbourne's north has been diagnosed with coronavirus.
The employee last worked at the restaurant on April 30 and remains in isolation at home.
A McDonald's Australia spokesperson confirmed in a statement to 9News the restaurant in Fawkner would remain open as strict cleaning procedures were being followed.

"There is no suggestion the employee was exposed to COVID-19 in the restaurant," the spokesperson said.
"The health and safety of our people and our customers is our priority."
The diagnosis comes as Victoria records 14 new cases of coronavirus, taking the state's total to 1454.
The fast food chain notified all restaurant employees after receiving confirmation of the positive diagnosis from the Department of Health this morning.

"McDonald's response, including its communication with its employees and sanitisation procedures, is above and beyond the Department's requirements and the restaurant is approved to remain open," the spokesperson said.
"McDonald's Australia implements strict cleaning, quality control and hygiene procedures throughout every shift at each of its restaurants."
Student tests positive at Melbourne school
A student from a Melbourne private boys' school in Bulleen has tested positive to coronavirus.
Marcellin College Principal John Hickey said the student has mild symptoms and was in "good spirits".
Mr Hickey said the teenager had not attended the college at any point this term, nor had contact with anyone in the school community.
"The safety and wellbeing of our staff and students is of paramount importance to us at all times," he said.
"As such we will continue to work closely with the Department of Health to ensure that all necessary health advice is adhered to.
"We keep this young man and his family in our thoughts and prayers as he recovers from the virus."
The student remains at home isolating with his family.
