Murder investigation launched into suspected stabbing death of man in Victoria

A man is believed to have been stabbed to death in rural Victoria.

The 58-year-old was found with critical injuries in Manangatang, between Swan Hill and Mildura near the border with New South Wales, about 9.15pm yesterday.

Homicide detectives have launched an investigation and remained on the scene overnight.

Police have appealed to anyone who saw the suspected murder, or has any information about what took place.
