Man whose plastic surgery filmed 20 years ago files lawsuit after film emerges online

A man who allowed his facial reconstruction to be filmed 20 years ago is now suing the plastic surgery company after video surfaced online showing his operation.

Florida man Steven Banasiak, 35, went to Manhattan doctor Paul Striker in 1994 to undergo silicon treatments to help eradicate a scar suffered during a skating accident.

At the time Mr Banasiak agreed to let an Australian TV crew film the operation for a documentary he was told would only air once.

According to court papers, Mr Banasiak claims his demands for the clip to be taken down have been ignored.

He is now suing the doctor and the silicon company Rejuveness for an undisclosed amount.
