Man critically injured after alleged stabbing at Queensland home

A Queensland man has been rushed to hospital in a critical but stable condition after an alleged stabbing.

Police were called to a home on East Street in Rockhampton yesterday and found a 52-year-old with two puncture wounds in his back and chest.

The man was taken to Rockhampton Base Hospital for treatment.

Police are investigating the incident and looking for witnesses.
