Pilot injured after plane crashes in Bendigo, Victoria

A pilot has been hospitalised with minor injuries after a plane crash in Bendigo, north of Melbourne this morning.
Emergency services were called to Sergeants Road and Midland Highway in Huntly, following reports a recreational aircraft had flipped over about 9.20am.

The male pilot, who was the sole occupant, exited the aircraft and was assessed by paramedics on scene.
He was taken to Bendigo Hospital in a stable condition.
